I threw my boyfriend a 30th surprise party at Vienna in Roslyn a little over a week ago and let’s just say messages and calls are still coming in about how OVER THE TOP it was.
It wasn’t easy planning a party in the middle of COVID. I had a vision of what I wanted this party to be for the man I love, I wanted it to mean something. So I toured countless venues, I even toured some virtually. All came up short of the expectations I had to pull off the perfect surprise. I felt defeated, so I put a deposit down at a venue that I wasn’t truly happy with.
A friend of mine introduced me to the owner, Matt, and Vienna. This man and place changed the game. I got my deposit back and immediately booked the party there. I’ve been in the service industry for 10+ years and this is exactly what I was looking for. Matt then introduced me to Chris (the Maitre D) and when I say he took care of everything, I mean it.
From the food, the photo booth, the decorations, the slideshow I sent him an hour before the party, the Tequila Bar which hands down was everyone’s favorite to pulling off the BEST SURPRISE EVER! He had our families and friends cracking up with his fake speech (which we were listening to from the other room).
My boyfriend is a hard guy to keep things from and he was FROZEN! Walking into the room seeing how above and beyond Matt and Chris went to make this night perfect brought tears to our eyes…Now, I really knew he was surprised!!
The service was OUTSTANDING! The bartenders, the waitstaff, the DJ all made our guests feel comfortable. They interacted with everyone all while following COVID protocols. Our guests had an amazing time and most importantly they all felt safe.
Matt, Chris and the entire staff at Vienna outdid themselves. They made all my dreams a reality. I gave these two my vision, they gave me their word and I TRUSTED THEM and boy am I glad I did. It surpassed every expectation I had of the night.
We, as well as many in attendance, will be booking events there for years to come. If you are looking to plan a party, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t! A few of our friends from the party already have !
